My first step toward this magazine was actually finding out which ones were my favourite Industrial Designers. So I started looking through a lot of them until it came down to 11.

But because the magazine could only have eight pages I had to reduce the numer of designers even more, I decided to stay with four.

Now that I had the designers I started working on the cover of the magazine. I wanted it to be simple but meaninfull and I got the idea when looking for a deck of cards I saw the "Tangram" game in a drawer at home. "Tangram" is a game that with only a determinated number of pieces shaped in different forms you have to build as many shapes as you can, which is sort of the background of the kind of industrial design I like. Nordic design.
So with water colours I created a combination of pieces shaped like "Tangram" ones.​
The only thing left to do whas thinking how I wanted to structure the magazine. I decided to take the triangles colours as the basic ones and to make everything very simple, with loads of white and space, just as the nordic design.
Each designer would have a title, his name, a photography and a short description. Everything else would be filled with their designs.
To make it a bit more "interactive" I added the time line so that it would have a meaning of evolution and to show their living time.
To make the front page I just took the image and touched a bit the brighteness with Illustrator. Then when I had it where I wanted it I copied it, made it bigger and put a bit of transparency on it so that it would create a background.
